At Ferny Grove State School we value sport and outdoor education. In their final year of school, students have the opportunity to lead their sport house - Kangaroos, Kingfishers, Koalas or Kookaburras. Under the guidance of HPE staff they assist in running sport carnivals, leading their teams from the front. They are also in charge of loaning sport equipment at lunch times and presenting sport reports on assemblies.
